Modern refrigerators do not just have more options: they, for example, can offer more usable volume for the samedimensions. A good example is the new RB5000A from Samsung.

Samsung RB5000A is a freestanding two-compartment refrigerator with a bottom freezer compartment. The modelis available in four colors: graphite, white, silver and beige. The upper door has a control unit with which you can setthe operating modes of the refrigerating and freezing chambers.

It is possible to outweigh the doors (so that they do not open from left to right, but vice versa). This gives you extrafreedom when placing your refrigerator in the kitchen. The new model uses a special wall structure: they are thinnerthan usual, but provide the same level of thermal insulation. The technology is called Space Max, it does not affectthe energy efficiency of the refrigerator.

With a height of 2 m, the refrigerator has a useful volume of the refrigerator compartment of 269 liters - it is dividedby three shelves. One of them has a folding design. It can not only be folded in half, but, if necessary, can be foldedonto the back wall in order to fit something voluminous in the refrigerator: a large saucepan, watermelon or cake.

There are two drawers in the lower part of the chamber. The upper one is special, with the so-called freshnesszone, ideal for storing chilled poultry and meat. The second is for vegetables and fruits. The temperature in thefreshness zone is lower than in the refrigerator compartment to keep food fresh for longer.

The refrigerator uses the All-Around Cooling cooling system - air ducts are laid to each shelf through which cooledair is supplied. In this way, it is possible to achieve a uniform temperature throughout the chamber. Well, No Frostneeds no introduction: this system reduces the formation of ice on the walls. Frost not only interferes - it alsointerferes with normal heat transfer, leading to increased energy consumption. With the No Frost system, refrigerators do not need defrosting and always work efficiently.

Another useful solution is the free configuration of the shelves in the door. By varying the height, they can easilyaccommodate a variety of containers, from small cans to tall bottles.

The freezer compartment consists of three spacious drawers. Moreover, in this model, they are fully extended - dueto this, loading and unloading of large products is simplified.

The useful volume of the freezer is 98 liters. There is a super freeze mode: it will be relevant, for example, whenyou brought a lot of products from the store and you need to freeze them as quickly as possible. The set alsoincludes an ice tray.

Inverter compressor

The heart of the refrigerator is an inverter compressor, which is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 10 years. Compared to conventional compressors, it is much quieter while automatically maintaining one of 7 cooling levels. Energy consumption is less than that of the same refrigerator with a conventional compressor.

Additional functions

Like most models of modern refrigerators, the RB5000A has a "Vacation" mode - it allows you to save energyduring a long absence of the owners. In the event of a power outage, the device can keep the temperature up to 18hours.
