The number of unemployed in Germany fell by 35 thousand in October, according to data from the Federal Agency for Employment of Germany. Analysts had expected a reduction in the number of unemployed by only 5 thousand, according to data from the Economics of Trade
Thus, the number of unemployed fell for the fourth month in a row.


In September, according to revised data, the number of unemployed in Germany fell by 10 thousand, not 8 thousand, as previously reported.


At the same time, unemployment in Germany fell this month to 6.2% compared with September's level of 6.3%. Experts expected unemployment to remain at the same level.


The number of part-time workers in Germany in August fell to 2.58 million, compared with 4.24 million in July.
